چکیده
Potato peel wastes are generated in high quantities from potato processing industries. They pollutants to the environment, and they release greenhouse gases into atmosphere. The present study assessed potentiality of hydrolyzing by amylase-producing fungi improve biogas generation peels through anaerobic digestion process. Different fungal isolates were screened for amylase production on wastes, highest producer was selected optimizing efficacy producing amylases efficiently allow conversion organic matter fermentable sugars that utilized best producers those derived Rhizopus stolonifer (32.61 ± 0.89 U/mL). cumulative methane yield hydrolyzed 65.23 3.9 mL CH4/g rate 0.39 CH4/h, whereas unhydrolyzed 41.32 2.15 0.25 CH4/h. Furthermore, it found two combined sequential stages (biogas production) followed biodiesel (enzymatic esterification) most effective, recording 72.36 1.85 64.82% total analytes. However, one-pot fermentation revealed 22.83 2.8 extracted 23.67% insights current paper may increase feasibility peel-based biorefinery biological hydrolysis strategy using eco-friendly enzymes.

Enzymatic hydrolysis of potato pulp.
BACKGROUND Potato pulp constitutes a complicated system of four types of polysaccharides: cellulose, hemicellulose, pectin and starch. Its composition makes it a potential and attractive raw material for the production of the second generation bioethanol. The aim of this research project was to assess the usefulness of commercial enzymatic preparations for the hydrolysis of potato pulp and to e...
متن کاملEnhancing Enzymatic Hydrolysis of Cellulose by Ultrasonic Pretreatment
Slurries of rice-straw cellulose (obtained by delignification and removal of hemicelluloses from the powdered raw material) were subjected to ultrasonic waves at different intensities for various times (constant temperature). Susceptibility of the samples to cellulose-hydrolysis increased initially with pretreatment time, reaching a maximum or a constant level thereafter. Maximum glucose yi...

Pretreatment of Lignocellulosic Wastes to Improve Ethanol and Biogas Production: A Review
Lignocelluloses are often a major or sometimes the sole components of different waste streams from various industries, forestry, agriculture and municipalities. Hydrolysis of these materials is the first step for either digestion to biogas (methane) or fermentation to ethanol. However, enzymatic hydrolysis of lignocelluloses with no pretreatment is usually not so effective because of high stabi...
متن کاملOptimization of Enzymatic Hydrolysis of Manihot Esculenta Root Starch by Immobilizeda-Amylase Using Response Surface Methodology
Enzymatic hydrolysis of starch from natural sources finds potential application in commercial production of alcoholic beverage and bioethanol. In this study the effect of starch concentration, temperature, time and enzyme concentration were studied and optimized for hydrolysis of cassava (Manihot esculenta) starch powder (of mesh 80/120) into glucose syrup by immobilized (using Polyacrylamide g...
